The Verifone Vx820 is a commonly used chip & device all over the world. SportSoft's POS system passes information to the closed loop Verifone system regarding price and the Ocius chip & pin system takes over, thus keeping the transaction secure and PCI-DSS compliant. No card details or sensitive information is stored in the SportSoft database - just the client ID and the transaction details.

Using the Stock Control Module, stock levels can be maintained and administered by setting minimum and maximum levels for stock items. Stock valuation and margin reports can be printed together with suggested re-order quantities. The system handles conversion ratios from order items to sale items such as barrels and pints. Facilities for making various adjustments to stock levels are available such as Stock Stake, Goods Inwards and Spillage 

A full sales ledger is contained within the SportSoft system and reports can be printed at any time for any selected date range, for any centre, warehouse or store, either by department or nominal ledger code. All reports can be exported for use in financial packages or spreadsheets. A full POS Audit is included, which can be filtered by user, till, tender type etc. which is extremely useful for handling suspicious occurrences.
